On top of that, no other nation has successfully fielded a 5th-generation stealth bomber anywhere in the world. The Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit made history in 1988 by achieving both of those historic firsts when it was unveiled at Air Force Plant 42 in Palmdale, California.
