Air Canada Launches New 8-Hour Nonstop Airbus A321XLR Route

Air Canada is preparing to launch a new nonstop transatlantic route between Montreal and Dublin using the Airbus A321XLR, marking one of the carrier’s most significant narrowbody long-haul expansions in recent years. According to schedule data published by AeroRoutes, the airline plans to begin the service in May 2027, with the aircraft operating the approximately eight-hour sector between Montréal–Trudeau International Airport(YUL) and Dublin Airport(DUB). The route is currently scheduled to operate four times weekly.
